CBCC is a wholly controlled entity of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Board of

Directors (hereinafter referred to as “CBCC"). All Rights Reserved.

Your privacy is one of our primary concerns. “CBCC" makes every effort to provide you with a safe

and private environment. This Privacy Policy tells you what information we gather and how we use it.

It applies to all “CBCC” websites including but not limited to www.BeachChamber.com ,

www.ClearwaterBeachTasteFest.com, www.ClearwaterBeachRestaurantWeek.com ,

www.ClearwaterBeachChalkWalk.com, www.BeachChamberGolf.com,

www.LightItUpClearwater.com,; (collectively hereinafter referred to as "CBCC Websites"). This

Privacy Policy does not apply to affiliate websites that have published their own privacy policies. This

Privacy Policy also does not apply to the websites of our business partners or to any third parties,

even if their websites are linked to “CBCC Websites”. We recommend you review the privacy

policies of the other parties with whom you interact.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Business Partners" means any subcontractor, vendor or

other entity with whom we have an ongoing business relationship to provide products, services or

information.

Information We Collect

We may ask you to provide personal information when you:

 Use “CBCC Websites”;

 Request services, support or information;

 Place orders for products or services;

 Participate in surveys, sweepstakes or other promotional activities;

 Share “CBCC Websites” content through social media;

 Subscribe to newsletters, download white papers or other materials or;

 Contact us

Information we may request includes your email address, name, title, address, telephone number,

social media public profile or business/company information ("Personal Information"). If you make a

purchase, register for an event, make a monetary donation we may ask for your credit card number

and billing information. Forms that you may fill in will indicate whether information requested is

required or optional.

We may collect information about your visits to ”CBCC Websites”, including the pages you view, the

links and ads you click, search terms you enter, and other actions you take in connection with

“CBCC Websites” sites and services. We may also collect certain information from the browser you

used to access a “CBCC Websites”, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and

language, access times, the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the website that referred you to the

“CBCC Websites” and to which website you browse.

In order to offer you a more consistent and personalized experience in your interactions with “CBCC

Websites”, information collected through one source may be combined with information obtained

through other “CBCC Websites” resources. We may also supplement the information we collect with

Some “CBCC Websites” offerings may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with another

company. If you register for or use such offerings, both “CBCC Websites” and the other company

Information Usage

“CBCC” uses your personal information to:

 Send communications to you, such as your transaction status (for example, order

confirmations), information about products and services, promotional offers, and surveys;

Disclosing Personal Information

“CBCC” may share your Personal Information with third parties to carry out the transactions you

request. We may also disclose your Personal Information to Business Partners to provide you with

information you may find useful (for example, partner discounts and upcoming activities), so that you

can share through social media, and to update our records. In addition, we may disclose your

Personal Information when legally required or to protect our rights.

Collection and Use of Children’s Information

“CBCC Websites” are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect information from

children under the age of 13 years. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not submit any

personal information through “CBCC Web Sites” without the express consent and participation of a

parent or guardian.

Cookies and Tracking

“CBCC Websites” use "cookies" to enable you to sign in to our services and to track your traffic

patterns. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your computer's hard drive. Cookies help us

personalize and make improvements to “CBCC Websites” so that you can have a pleasant and

productive experience. You can set your browser to send a warning message before accepting

“CBCC Websites” also works with third party advertising and personalization partners that use

cookies to help us display personalized content and appropriate advertising during your visits to

“CBCC Websites” and other websites. These cookies identify the pages you view, the links and ads

you click on, other actions you take on those web pages, and the site from which you came before

arriving at a web page. This also helps us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Similarly, third parties use cookies to deliver advertising for companies other than “CBCC Websites”

to you on the Internet, whether you are on “CBCC Websites” sites or other websites, based on your

visits to “CBCC Websites” sites and other websites. These cookies assist the third parties in

identifying the pages you view, the links and ads you click on, other actions you take on those web

pages, and the site from which you came before arriving at a web page.

If you would like to opt out of this program, please notify us by sending an email with the following

information, including but not limited to, First Name, Last Name, email address, to be removed from

this program to office@beachchamber.com .

"Do Not Track" Signals

Please note that while you may have the ability to opt-out of targeted advertising through the

provided email (Office@beachchamber.com) above and you may be able to control the use of

cookies through your web browser as described in the "Cookies and Tracking" section above, some

web browsers may give you the ability to enable a "do not track" setting that sends a special signal

to the websites you encounter while web browsing. This is different from disabling certain forms of

tracking by declining cookies in your browser settings, as browsers with the "do not track" setting

enabled still have the ability to accept cookies. “CBCC Websites” does not respond to web browser

“do not track signals” at this time. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this

Privacy Policy.

Email Marketing

Some marketing you receive, including email marketing, may also be personalized based on your

visits to “CBCC Websites”. In addition, when you click on some links in the email marketing, our

email service provider may place a cookie on your browser. This cookie would be linked to your

email address and used to gather information about the products and services you view on “CBCC

Websites”. Information gathered may be used to personalize and customize future email marketing

messages you receive. You may opt out of receiving email marketing by clicking on the unsubscribe

link provided in the email message you receive from “CBCC Websites”.

Notification of Privacy Changes

CBCC reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made they

will be posted to “CBCC Websites” immediately with a revised Effective Date. We encourage you to

periodically review this Privacy Policy.

Third Party Sites

Please be aware that other websites that may be accessed through “CBCC Websites” may collect

personal information about you. The information practices of those third-party web sites are not

covered by this Privacy Policy. “CBCC Websites” DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR

THE PRACTICES OF ENTITIES, WEBSITES AND/OR OTHER SITES NOT OWNED BY THE

CBCC.

Security Policy

“CBCC” recognizes your concerns about web commerce and transactions using bank and credit

card information. Therefore, “CBCC Websites” is committed to keeping personal information secure

during commerce transactions by using a secured SSL encryption with all direct transactions that

involve using credit card or banking information.

Refund Policy

All donations and payments made to the “CBCC,” whether through the “CBCC Websites” or in

person at our Main Office, any satellite location operated by the “CBCC” or any event organized by

the “CBCC” are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.
